Whether you want to relax on an outdoor sun platform while the kids play in the spray park, or  watch the sunset, go for an after dinner cruise on our new Harris patio boat, or explore all that Quesnel and the surrounding area has to offer. Robert's Roost is the premier destination resort in Quesnel and Central B.C.

Reservations are recommended and can be made through the reservation link. 

From the South:

Located south of downtown Quesnel. Turn right off of Hwy. 97 onto Gook Rd (just past Jasper Rd. and Lakeview Elementary School) and follow for approximately 2.3 km. The park will be located on your right.

From the North:

Gook Rd. is located approximately 6.5 km. south of the Quesnel Visitor's Information Centre. You will be turning left off of Hwy. 97 after the lights at the Maple Drive/Hwy.97 intersection. Follow Gook Rd. for approximately 2.3 km. The park will be located on your right.

RV Sites

Payment Terms:

Payment in full for any stays less than one month is due upon arrival. Stays of one month and over, payments will be made on the 1st. And 15th. Of each month.

15% Discount for stays of a month or over. Failure to pay by the above terms will result in forfeit of your discount.

Sites 1-13 are full service with 15 amp. Power for $31/night.

Sites 14-40 are full-service with 30 amp. Power for $35/night.

Sites 43-48 include 15 amp. Power, water and cablevision for $28/night.

Sites 49-54  include  15 amp. Power and cablevision for $26/night.

Dry camping (non-serviced) available for $22.

Tax will be added to above rates. Prices are based on 2 adults per site. All prices are subject to change.

Firewood

We have 3 community firepits. We charge $5 per tote. We load. You are permitted to bring your own wood burning firepit for any sites other than the pull throughs (too close together) as long as it is raised off the ground and self contained. You must clean up after yourselves. Propane fire rings are encouraged as we often are under fire bans in the summer.

Site Cancellation Policy

One night, non-refundable if less than 24 hours notice is given. 

Holiday weekends - Site paid in full with no refund if less than one weeks notice is given.

Campground Etiquette

Due to the fact that we are a gated complex, check in time is between noon and 9pm. 

Speed Limit is a crawl… strictly enforced for everyone's safety.

Check out time is noon.

Visitors of guests must register at the office and depart by 10 pm. A day use rate of $10 will be charged to all guests who stay the day, $20/family of 4. Maximum of 4 guests per site.

Young children must be supervised at all times.

Campsites are to be kept neat and tidy. No clotheslines tied between trees and, if moved, picnic tables are to be returned to their spot prior to leaving.

Quiet time is all the time. Please refrain from loud music.

Consumption of alcohol must be confined to your own campsite. No public intoxication.

All sewer hook-up must be made using proper sewer connectors. Hose alone may slide down and back up the sewer lines and believe me when I say, "No one wants that!"

We are a pet friendly campsite, however the following rules must be adhered to for the safety and comfort of all campers.

Pets must be on a leash at all times when outside your RV. The person walking the dog, must be able to control it should the unforseen happen.

Please do not leave your pet unattended at the campsite or in the RV. Your pet misses you when you are gone, and barking dogs can lessen other campers enjoyment of the park.

All pets must be cleaned up after. Dispose of waste properly. Dispenser bags are available throughout the campsite.

A pet ID tag is essential. Sometimes the unexpected happens. For the happiness of you and your pet, please make sure they are returnable to you.

Robert's Roost does not book family reunions or other large group events.

Yellow $35.00 (30 amp power, sewer, water, cable) · Purple $31.00 (15 amp power, sewer, water, cable) · Red $28.00 (15 amp power, water, cable) · Green $24.00 (No services). 15% discount for stays of a month or over. 10% weekly discount June, August and October. Min. 2 nights for weekend reservations July _ Aug.

WiFi: Shaw Go WiFi for Shaw customers coming soon.  Park WiFi: Unlimited free wireless  per site. Special Streaming media devices $5/ day.

• Check out time is 11 am. Please notify the office by this time if you wish to extend your stay. You may keep the same site only if it is not already reserved. 
• If you wish to stay longer in your site, a $15 charge will apply, only if the lot is available. 
• Check in time for RV's is between 12-9 pm. Check in time for rental trailers is 4-9 pm

• Visitors
• Visitors must register at the office and depart by 10 pm. Day use fee of $5/person applies.
• Visitors MAY NOT bring pets into the campground. Pets are allowed for registered guests only. If visitors have a boat they wish to launch, a $15 fee applies. Maximum of 4 guests per site unless cleared with management first. Visitors must park up front by the office and display a visitors pass. Registered guests are responsible for the actions of their guests.

• Vehicles
  
• Speed limit is 5 km/hr. There are many children in the park so please drive safely. One vehicle per site. Vehicles must be parked on your own site. No ATV's or golf carts.

• Restrooms
  
• Restrooms/showers are open 24 hours/day. Showers are coin-operated. All rooms/showers are private. If they are locked, someone is in them. Children under 6 are not to be unattended in the restrooms. Washing dishes in the washrooms is prohibited, as well as smoking and washing of garments.

  ---

  Laundry Facility
• Laundry room is open from 9 am-10 pm. Any items left in after 10 pm will be locked in until morning. Our washing machines are $2/load and dryers are $2/half hour of dry time. Please remove your clothes in a timely manner. Work coveralls are not to be washed in these facilities, particularly if they have oil/grease on them. To keep sites tidy, please do not dry clothes on lines.

• Water Usage
  
• No washing cars/RVs in the park. You may 'bucket wash' the bugs/road grime off your RV windshield, mirrors etc.  Water at your sites is chlorinated and safe to drink.

  Gray/Black Water Disposal
• Sewer collars or rings must be used on all sewer hook-ups. If you need to empty your black tank, make sure you have plenty of gray to flush the lines with afterwards. For the health of the septic system and to ensure that everything remains 'flowing smoothly' please do not leave your sewer valve open during your stay. Wait until your tanks have enough in them to flush the lines.

  Trash Disposal
• A dumpster is located across from the restrooms. No trash or compost in the blue recycling bins

• Campfires
  
• We have 3 community fire pits in the park. Fire pits are restricted to small self contained elevated Wood burners or Propane rings  if you would like your own private fire. Fire wood can be purchased at the office for $5/tote. If you are sitting around a campfire, please keep your voices down after 10 pm out of respect to your neighbours.

• Campground Etiquette
  
• Consumption of alcohol must be confined to your own campsite. No public intoxication.  If you move your picnic table to make your site more accessible, please put it back where you found it prior to leaving. 
• Tabletop BBQs must have something under them to prevent burns _ grease from ruining the picnic table. Do not deface, remove or destroy any sign, notice or protective device placed in the park, campground, playground or any other place within the campground. Vandalism will not be tolerated. Parents are responsible for their children’s actions and must assume financial responsibility for any damage or injury caused by them, regardless of age.
• Be considerate of your neighbors. No loud radios or noises. Please do not walk through other campsites.  Please report any undesirable situation to the office. If something is not right or not up to your standards, please let us know. We can’t promise everything, but we’ll do our best to make your stay enjoyable. Management reserves the right to evict from the RV Park, without a refund, anyone violating the rules or engaging in objectionable conduct. The management assumes no responsibility for accidents, injuries or losses from any cause.

  Pets
• We are a dog friendly park, but for the enjoyment of everyone, please adhere to the following rules. Please respect the 'No Pet Area' of the park (playground, washrooms, garden, office). This area is marked in orange on your campground map when you check in. Pets are to be on a maximum 6ft. leash at all times. Please make sure that whoever is walking your pet is able to control it. Your pet may not behave as you expect if it finds itself in a stressful situation. No dog shall be left tied up and unattended. Allowing your pet to bark uncontrollably day or night will lessen the positive vacation experience for everyone.  Pets are to be cleaned up after immediately with the waste disposed of in the dumpster.

3 Night minimum for all rental trailers. All accommodation are non-smoking and pet free. Half of your stay will be charged at time of booking. Cancellation period is 2 months prior to your arrival. To make your vacation as relaxing as possible, all linens, dishes, etc... are supplied - a home away from home.

Activities

Robert's Roost RV Park is situated on the world famous Dragon Lake. Our Park has a playground, horseshoe pits, volleyball net, overhead spray park, sun platform and a naturalized beach. We are friends of the environment, and in our quest to preserve the health of the lake, choose not to import sand onto the lake shore. We have a new guest dock and swim platform that makes access to the water easy and provides a great place for star gazing. Saturday nights in the garden are outdoor movie nights during the summer months (weather dependent)

We have fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, Stand up Paddle boards and a brand new Harris patio boat for hourly or daily rental. Call or email for prices. Any rental with a motor requires a Boat Operator's Card to rent. Reservations required.

 Robert's Roost Rental Policies

• All renters are required to sign a standard rental agreement form, which includes a release of claims and acknowledgement of responsibility for equipment.
• Any lost or damaged equipment will be charged to the renter at the full retail price.
• All renters must have valid ID and a matching credit card¹ for a damage deposit.
• Renters must arrive 15 minutes prior to their reservation time to complete a standard rental form and payment.
• Solo kayakers must have experience doing a solo capsize re-entry.²

Youth Policy

• Paddlers must be 8 years or older.
• Kayakers: Youth (8-14 years) must be accompanied by an adult (19+) 
• Stand Up Paddlers: Youth (8-14 years) must be accompanied by an adult (19+).
• Everyone under the age of majority (19 years) must have a parent or legal guardian³ sign the standard rental form, as well as an Acknowledgement of Risk form.

^1. Must be Mastercard or Visa. Debit/Credit combination cards or pre-paid credit cards not accepted.
^2. If there are two or more paddlers, no prior skill is required.
^3. The only way that person can become a legal guardian is by a court order or under a will.

With 2 golf courses , hiking, Quesnel's Riverfront trail network and the Historic town of Barkerville all in our bark yard, there is a little something for everyone in our beautiful city.

Reservations

This is a request form only, no spots are reserved until confirmed by Robert's Roost. Please see our Accommodations link to view more information on the rental trailers we offer.

Due to limited rental accommodations and high demand for RV sites, we do not offer any discount for weekly stays during the months of May, July and September. Monthly discounts still apply for our regular operating season.

Rental Trailers - 1/2 of stay is due at time of booking (rental trailers only) and confirmed only once we receive partial payment and the signed rental agreement.

Long weekend and Billy Barker Days weekend (July 17-20) reservations require a 3 night minimum stay and weekends in July and August require a 2 night stay. Drop-in sites may be available for less nights.

Due to the fact that we are a gated RV Park, check in time for RVs is prior to 9pm and no earlier than noon to ensure your site is vacant and ready.
